Elias is often out and about, but he's always glad to hear out anyone who needs to speak with him. Visit him in his home within the lighthouse, catch him out in the bustling city streets, or leave him a letter! He'll get back to you as soon as he can.

“Oh, I’m…not a father.” John replies, waving it off—but his smile and the color in his cheeks are a telling sign the observation is a high compliment. And coming from a smart, good looking older guy…

…well, he kinda has a type.

“And they toe the line—Edgar is maybe early twenties, Radar is nineteen, but Kitty is fifteen so she’s the only one really in there solid. As for what I’ve seen? Well…maybe it isn’t so weird, but I’m no scientist. There’s a lotta wild forage here that’s just like stuff from my own world. I’ve noticed very little deviation except there’s something in the dandelions that allows for pretty rapid fermentation early in the process of making wine. Lamb’s ear, wild garlic, nettles—all better geared for consumption than I’ve seen before. I’ve also created a wild rabbit preserve to make farming game easier. Hares, cottontails…good for observation if you ever wanna come by.”

"I wonder if it's anything pertaining to the magic that makes the vegetation of this world so much more potent... or perhaps it's Marrow Isle specifically?" Elias muses out loud, scratching at his beard gently. He doesn't have long to contemplate it before the kettle on the stove begins to whistle, however, snaring his attention. It takes him but a short few moments to collect cups, get coffee poured, and offer a cup over, before he leads John to the small "living room" portion of the home, divided by a simple sofa and a single reading chair.

"If you don't mind my asking, is this your first venture into the exploration of the wilds, or is this an interest that carries over from life?"
